Frequently Asked Questions

What is psychological counseling and who is it suitable for?

Psychological counseling is a professional process that helps individuals explore their emotions, thoughts, and behavioral patterns in greater depth and develop more effective ways of coping with challenges in their lives. It is suitable for anyone who wants to improve themselves, overcome current difficulties, or enhance their overall quality of life.

When should I seek psychological support?

Psychological counseling can be helpful whenever you are experiencing situations that feel overwhelming, difficult to resolve, or challenging to cope with on your own. Intense anxiety, emotional ups and downs, insomnia, relationship difficulties, problems managing anger, periods of low self-confidence, work-related stress, or major life changes such as marriage, relocation, or loss are just some of the areas that can be addressed during counseling.

How does the psychological counseling process work?

The process begins with a free 15-minute initial consultation where we assess your needs and expectations. During the first session, we discuss your current difficulties and goals in detail and become familiar with the counseling process. Following this assessment, the frequency of sessions, working methods, and overall treatment plan are structured professionally according to your individual needs.

Is there a difference between online and in-person counseling?

Online counseling follows the same ethical standards, professional approach, and working methods as in-person counseling. For many clients, online sessions offer greater flexibility in terms of time and location while maintaining the same professional standards throughout the counseling process.

How can I book an appointment?

You can submit your request by using the “Book an Appointment” button on our website. Once your request has been reviewed, you will be contacted within 48 hours at the latest.

How can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?

To maintain an organized appointment schedule, please notify us of any cancellation or rescheduling request at least 24 hours in advance. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session, 50% of the session fee will be charged.

Will the information I share remain confidential?

Trust is one of the fundamental principles of psychological counseling. All information you share is kept confidential in accordance with professional ethical standards. Information may only be disclosed in exceptional circumstances required by law — such as when there is a risk of harm to yourself or another person — or with your written consent.

What are the session fees and payment options?

Detailed information about session fees and available payment options is provided during the initial consultation. A counseling plan is developed according to your individual needs, and the relevant fee and payment details are explained accordingly.
